There are some cliff spaces on the nuclear cooling units and cliffs. For this reason, the Crook Boss is also quite useful on this map because of the Crook and Mafia it spawns at Levels 4-5, respectively. The Military Base is extremely useful on this map due to the long path, as well as the compact nature of the path.

It took the left circle, down the bisector path onto the right circle. The path went around the first corner and took the long straight to the first figure of eight. The path started and ended at two caves but the route taken to get to the end was rather long and convoluted. The brown pebble path was rather complicated on this map. Slight hills could also be seen around the map. Several dead trees were planted around the map. Several metal fences surrounded the structures on this map. A power station could also be seen here, with power lines coming from the power station. Several cooling towers, cooling units, storage tanks and nuclear reactors could be seen, with many appearing damaged or overflowing with radioactivity. Polluted Wasteland took place at an abandoned nuclear power plant that appears to have been damaged. This map had a normal wave structure on other gamemodes. On Fallen and Golden modes, some of the enemies were replaced with nuclear variants. Polluted Wasteland was a night-time map that had recently been through a nuclear disaster.
